Miss Laurie has been teaching with Dance for Fun since 2003.  She started as the Tumbling/ Gymnastics teacher and Diaper Dancing teacher, and has worked to become a Preschool Dance Teacher as well.  She has been teaching  Acrodance Classes for Lake Orion Community and Preschool Ballet, Tap and Jazz Classes for Clarkston Community Education for the last couple years.  She choreographed her first dance for Clarkston's Recital in 2007, as she played Cinderella and then double that in 2008 with a different Cinderella song and Mulan song.  Miss Laurie enjoys teaching, she taught preschool for 8 years prior to having her own childern.   Now she enjoys teaching with her daughter, Jaclynn, who has performed in 10 Dance for Fun recitals, since she was 2 1/2 years old!  Jaclynn is a great help in class and the kids love watching and learning from her.  The STARZ Performing Arts family is wonderful and I've enjoyed being a part of it the last 5 years!
